We will be doing our yearly maintenance starting July 1 to 15, 2010, please make your personal backup and copy all your previous and current logs and results.
We will be releasing also the final version of SMS Receiver Backup that will be given to all clubs as your personal backup system, were you can view and later upload all the sms data to our system. The system has been tested with Huawei USB Modems for Globe Tattoo, SmartBro and Sun. Please wait for further updates regarding ZTE USB Modem models.
SMS Receiver Beta Version
We will be giving this tool for all clubs who are using our clocking system.
You can run this application on a multiple USB Modems on a single machine or PC, it took us a while to developed and release this, because we are looking for a low cost Modems, finally we found it.
Instead of buying expensive modems worth 15K to 30K each, we are proposing the USB Modems that Globe,Smart and Sun are offering, Globe Tattoo, SmartBro, Sun USB modems by Huawei and ZTE. Its only 1K each.
Functionality of the said application:
1. Receives SMS messages.
2. Log all messages on an Excel file
3. Display all messages on screen for viewing.
4. All messages can be manually uploaded to our existing system, for the computation and web display.

**** we are planning to make a separate system or application for reply/response, why?
**** if we both implement receiving and sending on a single modem, this will cause a delay problem.
most the modems can not receive while sending or can not send while receiving. ie half duplex, we need
a modem that is full duplex, but its much more expensive.
note: we are planning to release this on saturday.
